Early access to advanced integration technologies
LIGENTEC LABS is LIGENTEC’s advanced technology division and customer-entry point for emerging integration modules. It provides early access to new capabilities and process options while also supporting commercially available active photonics technologies as they are scaled across the platform.
Current LIGENTEC LABS offerings include TFLN (Thin-Film Lithium Niobate) modulator integration, available via MPW-LN and dedicated runs, and InGaAs photodetector integration on all platforms. Both technologies are part of LIGENTEC’s active photonics offering, with LABS serving as the engagement vehicle for advanced integration and roadmap development.
LIGENTEC LABS is the right entry point for customers whose application requires active functions — modulation, photodetection — on a low-loss SiN backbone, but who are not yet at production volume. Engage early: design requirements shape the process development roadmap.
