The visible-spectrum and low-confinement SiN platform
AN150 is LIGENTEC’s 150 nm silicon nitride platform, designed for the visible wavelength range and low-confinement applications. It is the platform of choice for AR/VR, quantum computing at visible wavelengths, and microscopy, and is widely used in the 700–1060 nm NIR range for sensing, OCT, and LiDAR systems that require low mode confinement and low thermal sensitivity.
The thinner core reduces mode confinement compared to AN350 and AN800 — the trade-off for operating at shorter wavelengths where tight confinement is either unnecessary or detrimental. Low thermal sensitivity makes AN150 attractive for environments where temperature stability is a design constraint.
