About us
LIGENTEC originated as a spin-off from the Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne (EPFL) and started based on the groundbreaking work of the laboratory of Professor Kippenberg on low loss silicon nitride for non-linear applications.
Today, LIGENTEC is a French and Swiss company, offering a technology portfolio for silicon-nitride based Photonic Integrated Circuits from the visible to the infrared for linear and non-linear optical processing in applications such as communication, autonomous driving, quantum computing, metrology, biomedical and more.
Our international team of experts and state of the art infrastructure supports our customers with best in class solutions for low loss integrated photonics from prototyping to volume production.
